This chair is designed to leave an impression on the skin, symbolizing the lasting impact of our experiences. Just as the chair leaves a unique mark, our experiences shape us individually, leaving unique imprints on our identities.
In the exhibit “Chairs of Hope,” this piece highlights how resilience and strength from our experiences contribute to personal growth and hope for the future. Inspired by my own journey, “Impressions of Presence” invites viewers to reflect on their experiences, recognize their impact, and appreciate the beauty in their unique journeys.
